Let's create a mixed-media painting in this 5-day workshop! I can’t wait to share with you all the fun tips and techniques I’ve learned over the last 20 years. Plus we’re painting around one of my favorite verses, so our Fall Blessing Girl will be shining her God-colors into the world!
This will be more than just a painting workshop. My hope is that this workshop will spark your heart in new ways! And that you’ll feel God’s song and His smile over you as you create and make!

Day 1
We’re reading Numbers 6:24-26.
And then we’ll write it and play with some paint today and add some flowers around the verse as well! We’re laying the foundation for the upcoming imagination and illustration designs…it’s going to be so much fun!
Day 2
Today we’re illustrating! We are fashion designers!
We’re going to look through some fun dress designs and draw several ourselves. You also get 3 girl templates that you can cut out and use as your design. So you can trace around the template or free hand sketch the girl.
The sky’s the limit! The key is to “Play and have fun!
Day 3
Today we’re painting the Fall Blessing Girl’s hair and face! We’re in the Fun and CREATIVE Design stage!
I’ll share how to mix paint for the hair and also how to mix paint for the skin tone too! This is going to be so much fun!
Remember to keep it all wonky! Throw out perfection. Embrace all the fun wonky and playfulness!
Day 4
It’s ADD the PAPER DAY! Get out all your paper and let’s start making the dress come alive with color!!
Today, we’re getting into the fun of paper and the fun of painting too! And I’ll share more about techniques, tools.. so many fun things to share!

Day 5
Today, I’m sharing how to paint the background and add the finishing touches! Plus, you’ll learn how you can write into the paint.
There are so many ways we can use our own creation and art to light up others. It’s a fun and wonderful way to share God’s love, joy and His creativity and color with the world!

Meet Tricia
This is me… I love color and whimsy. I love the beach. I love bubblegum pink. I love creating the “beautiful wonky!” To me, wonky stands for the beautifully imperfect. 🎨 I love to draw girls and dresses and houses and flowers, just like I did when I was eight. And it is still wonky. I love fashion design. Just like I loved as a teenager. But I love wonky fashion design like Gucci… mismatched colors and fabrics... so beautifully imperfect. And I love the beautifully imperfect! It gives so. much. more. freedom! 🎨 Fast forward from 8 years old to 30 years old. And it was at 30 that my art life bloomed again. It was a reblooming. A butterfly time. I was inspired by a “wonky” artist at the beach by the name of Nancy Swann Drew. She was my hero because she painted with color and freedom. 🎨 From her inspiration, I picked up pencil and paintbrush and a sharpie marker. I played with paint and added paper to my paintings. And my art career began! 🎨 A little gallery at the beach started selling my paintings. Then I entered art shows. Then it was Saks Fifth Avenue. And then some celebrities bought my art. And people actually wanted to take lessons. I started “Art Nights” with friends painting around my dining room table. And then started camps and retreats. It’s been amazingly wonderfully wonky! Magic happens in the wonky! 🎨 Cheers to all the magic and all the wonky of life! And cheers to our God who believes in us.
