So I decided what better way than to paint angels! ✨⭐️✨⭐️✨
I love thinking about how we get to join the angels in singing the Wonderful News... the joy of Christ coming to earth! This painting course will be all about painting with joy and color and sparkle! And it’s been a lot of fun creating and I can’t wait to share it with you!
I think painting and creating is a great way to slow down a bit during Advent. I always feel like I can focus better when I pick up a paint brush. And my mind can truly be in the moment. And what better way to be in the moment then to paint angels and celebrate this season of “singing with the angels”. Singing out “Joy to the World!”
I'm going to share with you step by step how to paint an angel with paper and acrylic paint. And this angel is singing out "Joy to the World!" So I'm calling this angel, Confetti Angel because to me, confetti symbolizes pure delight and joy. And angels were the first ones to announce to the shepherds the Joy of Jesus coming to earth!
I'm also teaching you how to "design" the dress and wings of a 2nd angel, the Star Angel. So there is not only one angel in this course, but two angels I'm teaching about with creating and painting and making dresses and angel wings!
As you paint your angels, my hope is that you can see yourself joining in with the angels as we celebrate Christ and sing "Joy to the World" this season.
This painting course is filled up with playing and using paper and paint. It’s about painting wonky. “Wonky” to me means the “beautiful imperfect” and being free to make mistakes. Painting can be so much fun when we have that freedom! And I can’t wait to share my “happy land” of creating with you! I think you’ll love the process of making your angel come alive with paint, paper, color and your imagination too! The painting course has 2 hours and 40 minutes of video content and has 13 lessons. And it’s for anyone who wants to create! Even if you’ve never picked up a paint brush, this course is for you! I’ll show you step by step instructions in a fun way! And if you’ve painted for years, this course is for you too! Because you may learn some more playful and free ways to paint! I’ll have a supply list, and share secret “ingredients” for painting with mixed media (paper and paint)! I’ll also share inspiration and step by step lessons. There are 14 painting lessons. And by the end of the course, you will have made a beautiful "Confetti Angel" and also you may want to paint a second "Star Angel” too!
This is a self-paced course so you can stop and start at any time. And the course is wonderful for any age range!
