 This will be more than just a painting workshop. My hope is that this workshop will spark your heart in new ways! And that youâll feel Godâs song and His smile over you as you create and make!

Day 1 đ
We'll be reading and writing the verse Matthew 5:14 (msg) and making the words come alive while playing with some paint!
Day 2 âď¸
We will be sketching and painting our Sunshine Girl in fun and wonky ways! And Iâll share more about techniques and tools! So many fun things to share!
Day 3 đ¨
We will begin to paint! Weâre in the Fun and CREATIVE Design stage where we start painting our girl and the foundation for her dress.
Day 4 đ
Itâs ADD the PAPER DAY! Weâll get out all our paper and start making the dress come alive with color and paper and texture!! Woohoo!Â
Day 5 đ
Weâre painting the background and finishing up our dresses! Plus, weâll write into the backgrounds.

Meet Tricia
This is meâŚÂ I love color and whimsy. I love the beach. I love bubblegum pink. I love creating the âbeautiful wonky!â To me, wonky stands for the beautifully imperfect. I love to draw girls and dresses and houses and flowers, just like I did when I was eight. And it is still wonky. I love fashion design. Just like I loved as a teenager. But I love wonky fashion design like Gucci⌠mismatched colors and fabrics... so beautifully imperfect. And I love the beautifully imperfect! It gives so. much. more. freedom! Â
Fast forward from 8 years old to 30 years old. And it was at 30 that my art life bloomed again. It was a reblooming. A butterfly time. I was inspired by a âwonkyâ artist at the beach by the name of Nancy Swann Drew. She was my hero because she painted with color and freedom. From her inspiration, I picked up pencil and paintbrush and a sharpie marker. I played with paint and added paper to my paintings. And my art career began!Â
A little gallery at the beach started selling my paintings. Then I entered art shows. Then it was Saks Fifth Avenue. And then some celebrities bought my art. And people actually wanted to take lessons. I started âArt Nightsâ with friends painting around my dining room table. And then started camps and retreats. Itâs been amazingly wonderfully wonky! Magic happens in the wonky!
